Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.

After dating Sarah Simmons (now Sarah Schreiber) for four years, Andrew Schreiber proposed on a rooftop in Florence, Italy, following a truffle-hunting excursion and winery tour.

“We celebrated by eating fresh pasta and drinking cheap Italian wine at a sidewalk café,” says Sarah. (Which, if we’re being honest, sounds like a perfect engagement celebration to us!)

Travel was a big part of their wedding, too; Andrew’s grandparents made the trip from Nantucket and Seattle to attend to the ceremony. “We felt so incredibly fortunate to have so many incredibly special friends and family in our lives!” says Sarah.

The 150 guests were invited to the Columbus Museum of Art for a picturesque ceremony. The couple’s dog, Zoe, almost stole the show during the ceremony when she walked down the aisle with the ring bearer, Aidan.

“Seeing one another for the first time walking down the aisle” was one of the most memorable moments of the wedding, says Sarah, who also enjoyed “spending an entire weekend around our loved ones.”
